A spiritual connection is basically a deep affinity felt between  people. This deep closeness goes beyond superficial personality traits, age, race, gender, likes, dislikes or shared interests. Instead, a spiritual connection is about sharing the same fundamental values, beliefs, life goals, and dreams.  When we realize that we are indeed connected to all other beings—especially children- we can begin to create together a world that unifies more than it divides.

Brené Brown's Definition of Spirituality

| SuperSoul Sunday | Oprah Winfrey Network |

"Spirituality is this deeply held belief that we are inextricably connected to each other by something greater than us, and that something greater is rooted in love and belonging.

We will never be able to free ourself from suffering until we are all free from suffering, which makes it our job to do something about it."

- Brené Brown

Social scientist and author Brene Brown elaborates on why the ability to rise strong is a spiritual practice, as described in her new book, 'Rising Strong.'

Brene Brown explains why she left the church, why she eventually went back and how she cherished her faith all along. For more on #Belief, visit Oprah.com. Spiritual Development for the Child

This video is about Spiritual Development

What Does Spiritual Development Look Like For The Child

Nye and Hay—“sensing awareness values ideas of good and evil, mystery, wonder, awe, meaning, insight and connectedness”

Perhaps spiritual development is first the discovery of who we are next the exploration of the connection that unites all and spiraling back around to our identity and place with all that connects

Five

Five children, five religions, (almost) five minutes.

This short film takes us from the mundane to the sublime, from the chaotic to the peaceful, and for a moment we consider our beliefs about spirituality.
